MYSearch is India’s First Mobile Telephone Directory, an app that brings Yellow Pages live on your smartphone. The app functions by automatically detecting the location of its users, and then finding places or services that are of importance to them.

For instance if the user were looking out for restaurants or for that matter even plumbers in the vicinity, MYSearch is the first go-to-app. Being extremely efficient and highly localised, MYSearch captures even the smallest of shops and grocers besides the regular and famous ones. Be it doctors, lawyers, mechanics, plumbers or anything at all, MYSearch finds their information, with reviews and ratings, presenting them from the closest to the furthest in terms of distance; making it extremely convenient for the user.

The user interface of the app is designed so that contacting the desired service or place of interest is made extremely simple and quick. A single click to call, email or visit the website and another to find the best route or the shortest distance to reach one’s destination.

MYSearch has been launched in Pune since June 2013 under Prominds Mobitech Private Limited, which was incorporated in February 2013. The idea was to help people find anything, anytime and anywhere. And what better a medium than an app that would have a personal directory with all emergency numbers and many other services in a place as handy as a phone. After all India alone comprises of 78.7 Million Mobile Internet Users out of which 24% use the internet to search for places and services. In this net-savvy generation, MYSearch is sure to be the next big thing in localisation.

The Prominds team thought this app would be particularly helpful if the user were not a localite. Every feature in MYSearch was thus developed keeping in mind people who are new to a place. The team made it possible for anything and everything to be found in increasing order of distances, so users could contact and reach the person or place concerned, within no time at all.

MYSearch displays all organised and unorganised businesses/services listed on it to the end users, right from the very famous landmarks of the city to the smaller and lesser known identities, with ratings and reviews.

Features

Location detection: Automatically identifies the current location of the user through GPS systems. The user needn’t take the trouble of typing in these details. This is Time-saving especially when one is traveling and needs to find a service or business in a hurry.

Near me: Identifies the user’s location and then accordingly displays search results with the nearest search results appearing on the top and the furthest at the bottom. This is extremely Convenient as the user can quickly identify the nearest and best place/service with unbiased search results along with their reviews and ratings.

Map us: Gives distance and driving directions to the user by automatically detecting his/her location and destination using Google Maps. This feature is Handy as it finds the best route and shortest distance to the end location, which saves not just time but even fuel.

My favourites: Enables the user offline access to information like frequently contacted numbers, addresses, web pages, etc. So when the user has no access to the internet, he/she can still find and contact the business/service with no hassle at all, making it User-friendly.

Emergency numbers:  Provides contact details of the police, fire station, ambulance and several other emergency services. MYSearch has taken good care of everyone new to cities. The list of emergency numbers is one of the best features as it gives Quick access to important numbers one should have in his/her smartphone.

Personal Directory: Gives access to the contact numbers of all MYSearch users. The app, while registration asks the user whether he/she wishes to publish contact details on the app. This feature helps the user maintain a personal phone book with no risk of data being lost, no storage limits nor backup worries; making the user completely Tension-free.

Contact tab: Directs the user to the contact details, website and location map of the business/service desired. It is a one-touch connect to the desired business/service. The user can directly call using the ‘call tab’, send an SMS through the ‘SMS tab’, send an email through the ‘mail us tab’ or visit the website via the ‘visit us tab’.
